When my brother and I were in Chicago, we wanted to visit my wonderful friend, Babara Da Silva, and check out the work being done by the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization. We had met Rafael, who does garden and food justice projects, at the US Social Forum. Below is a video from the “Toxic Tour” of the area we went on. Armando Medina, 19, gave us a walking tour of several sites near the LVEJO office where there are examples of environmental injustice and histories of struggle.
